(National knowledge center for the treatment of young people with mild intellectual disabilities)
The Dutch National knowledge center for the treatment of young people with mild intellectual disabilities is an active, independent, non-governmental, organization where researchers in the field of treatment of young people with mild intellectual disabilities can meet share and disseminate knowledge. The organization operates in the Netherlands. There are contacts with all relevant universities, colleges and organizations for youth care, care for people with handicaps, child psychiatry and youth detention centers.
In the knowledge center special attention is paid for doing inclusive and participatory research.
