Marisol Clark-Ibáñez is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at California State University San Marcos.
Dr. Clark-Ibáñez has published on photo-elicitation interviews, ethnography, and the sociology of childhood. She is working on a book project is a PEI study of urban childhoods and has a book manuscript under review on urban schooling.
Recently, she has presented her research on inner-city children “Childhoods 2005” in Oslo, Norway, the International Visual Sociology Association Conference, and at the American Sociological Association Conference.
Additionally, Dr. Clark-Ibáñez has published in the areas of urban schooling, classroom micro-interactions, and social relationships.
